David Rich in his shop working on
the Thorup turret roof caps
Here below are several examples of the more basic roof caps we've made. We are not limited to these designs. They are just a good sample of what we could do for you. For more detailed descriptions about these copper roof caps click on the photos below to go to those web pages. I could add more current images here, but there is already so many here it would just bog down your browser even more. Rest assure that we are still quite active with these sort of projects. I have been uploading more of our more current projects on my Facebook company profile photo albums. |

Providence Children's
Medical Center Fundraiser Turret Cap for this plat house West Linn, Oregon (11/02) |
It had about a 20/12 pitch roof, and is about 36" wide at the base. We also made the copper ridge cap for the top of the roof sections, and a mini gutter for around the porch roof. You cannot see it here, but I also fabricated a custom valley and some flashing for behind the turret, where it meets with the roofing. (see: copper-by-design.com/pg/prov.htm for more details) If we were to build this for a paying client, the turret copper cover would cost about $900 for the 30+ square feet of copper needed to be fabricated to cover this turret at $25 per square foot of copper. |
