This is a set of 2 identical turret roof caps that were made for builder Christine Bell for this new house at 38809 - 455th St., Frazee, Minnesota 56544.

It is on a private 6.8 acres plot with a small lake. For sale summer 2007. Her cell # and voicemail is: 218-371-9055.

I make sure the support pipe is perfectly vertical with this level. Then I anchor and seal the bottom support to the top of the base cap. I then build a steeper steeple cone to attach over this to hold the top of the support pipe secure. It was riveted to the base cap though the flange bent inward along the bottom edge of the steeple cone. It has 32 hidden rivets holding the steeple cone securely in place.

They were designed and made to be 24" wide across the base at a 24/12 pitch angle for the matching circular turret roofs on each side of the front of the house. They were also built to support a pair of Avalon finials, so this shows how we built in this support pipe to be independent of the roof for finial support with the solid brass masts for inside the finials

I then build this custom wood crate for shipping to back East.
