Custom Copper Chimney Flashing Kits, Crickets, Saddles, or Diverters |
This tree had grown too close to the house to mount a gutter in this area on their house, so I made this copper rain diverter for a local gutter client of mine to solve this issue. I make custom copper chimney flashing kits like this for clients across the Country that are pre-bent, marked, and numbered in order of placement w/copper roofing nails. The basic 20oz copper step and counter flashing you see on the left runs $20 sq' or $16# (same thing). The common 8" long 2x4 step flashing takes 1/3 sq' each, and the counter flashing is not more than 1/2 sq' each. The custom angled saddles w/wood support under them run $40 sq'. If you are not local there is some freight added to these costs of course. Most Roofers you'll encounter will claim this is not possible to install, because they do not want to do it, but I prove that is false and maybe you should not hire that Roofer. For instruction and lots of step-by-step photos of how to do chimney flashing replacement correctly go to my Chimney Flashing web page for more details: http://copper-by-design.com/cc/cf.htm My Roofing web page at: http://dmr-gutters.com/rf/roofs.htm goes into more detail about these sort of roofing related issues, so don't leave without reading it over. There's important of information all Homeowners should know. It will help to save yourself a great deal of wasted cost and anguish down the road. |

4x12 Aluminum Beam Covers |
This was a large project for a local client in Milwaukie Oregon named Nancy Shell. We were to cover her large 4x12 roof joists with this thick .040 and .063 pre-painted aluminum for a life time seal from the weather. It was so thick my metal bender could not bend it. I had to rent some equipment at the wholesale supplier of this metal to cut and form it to shape as seamless as possible. We did about $5,500 worth of work on her house.
