This custom copper fire pit cover was made 36" wide OSD, 31" ISD with a thick 32oz copper to cover this outdoor gas fire pit in order to keep it clean and dry when not in use.  Suzie Opsahl contacted me on 8/30/10 and they were able to come to my shop to pick it up on 9/18/10. Here is some of the before and after shots I sent them during the fabrication process and a couple I got from them after putting it in place.

This shows the first 3 side drawn out on the flat copper sheet before it was being formed for an 8/12 pitch angle. I was able to form this in just 2 pieces along with the drop frame as well to help stabilize it, so it will not get blown off and dented in a wind storm without needing to strap it down. The stabilizing sleeve extends down into the inside of their fire pit.
