What Does Copper By Design Have To Offer?

As you have seen, there are thousands of examples of unique rust free sheet metal project that were designed, sold, fabricated, and crated for shipping by CBD:
First off; you do not need to be a man for this type of work. This is more about what's between your ears than upper body strength. If you're straining that much, you're probably not doing it right or not using the right tools. Although, the Me-Too movement has made it near impossible to hire female workers without risk of them possibly making a faulse claims against their male counterparts, which has terribly crippled their chances for being hired. If you are just working alone or a woman whom is working with other women, you should be able to make this work.

(2/18/19) Melisa Raether of Gorge Gutters in WA, Ph# (509) 281-0684

There are thousands of sheet metal shops around the States. Most of them are doing HVAC work (air ducting parts). Not custom rain management work like CBD has specialized in, so there is a shortage of craftpersons out there doing this kind of work. Many workshops may have more or better equipment than CBD, yet are amazed to see what CBD has been able to create with a fraction of the equipment they have. It's what you do with it that matters more than having large expensive equipment. Imagination and tenacity is key.

I can show you how you can set up a working business with minimal tools and improve your marketing to save you thousands each month from paying for expensive ads. This is website is already the most comprehensive you will find on the Web by far, so you will find a lot of beneficial information, if you take the time to read through it.

This could be for you if you want to have more control of your life, while making a decent living. It's more rewarding to do something that is creative and stimulating. Building projects with your own hands. To have something you're proud of decades later. Perhaps building a legacy for your children.

If you already have some sheet metal working experience that can be helpful, but is not required. Most importantly, you will need to possess a good mechanical aptitude, spatial arrangement, artistic imagination, and decent math skills to get into this sort of high end Coppersmith craft.

As far as I know I may have one of the only gutter replacement and custom sheet metal trade-school programs like this in the States. I can assist your start-up of this type of business, with lists of suppliers and tools best suited for this work. Saving you a lot of wasted time and thousands of dollars. Much more saved than the cost of this training program.

.

What to do before signing up for my sheet metal business training program:
There is a great deal of info already here on this extensive website regarding this type of business, with hundreds of Fabrication Pages to review to help give you a better idea of what this is all about, but it is not just a standard system profit focussed business model. It revolves around a very high set of standards for quality and ethics. I feel a high standard of ethics it is a smarter business model in the long run; saving thousands each month just in advertising costs and stressful customer warranty service issues. Keeping the phone ringing for decades to come from referrals and less head-aches for dealing with upset clients.

The worst thing that can happen is when they don't call you about an issue, because they had lost faith you can help solve their issues. Your reputation suffers, and there's nothing you can do about it.

This is not a quick-get-rich program, since most of those are just scams to pick your pocket. This type of work has a good potential of making a healthy living, without breaking your back, or having to work with highly hazardous materials. It has growth potential to possibly make you $50 to $150 an hour, but I feel some of the best rewards is the sense of pride and satisfaction with your accomplishments by providing a good service to your clients and helping to build value in America. Perhaps building something to leave to your family as well.

Read through our website carefully to get to know this business as well as you possibly can. Not just this one webpage. Then write an essay detailing your experience, qualifications, workshop space and tools you already have, along with your plans for this type of business. Then e-mail that to me to begin the process and evaluate the cost of just what you want and need. That way I can tailor the cost for your maximum benefit.

You will need to submit half of the tuition to begin the actual training on-line, to prepare you for maximizing your time here with hands-on training. The other half will be due when you arrive for your hands-on training. Read the sections below to find out more what that training may entail.

.

What If I Need Training in Sheet Metal Work 101:

For more information than I have already generously provided here, you will need to pay for my personalized one-on-one lessons that will be much more than just how to bend metal.  I will be happy to tailor this training to meet your needs and adjust the cost accordingly. Even shift-gears mid-stream, or cancel the training if you feel this is not working for you. You will most likely need to be able to spend week or two here with me for a portion of this hands-on training depending on your aptitude, but if you are a very sharp person it could go fairly quickly.

With my training program options you can get:

(a) Remote correspondence, information uploaded to the internet, video confrencing training time, in order to help maximize your time while here.

(b) Learning the lingo and sales techniques that work, without placing your client under stressful pressure.

(c) Provide you with a list of good tools and suppliers.

(d) A detailed work system to save you a lot of money and time while building this new business.

(e) I will be going over marketing concepts with better photography lessons, and work with you to develop a starter website to market your service for clients local to you and even out of State.  This will give you that professional image and save you a great deal of time on the phone answering common questions. It will also help you find better pre-sold clients.

(f) I will show you how to maintain a website, and add your personal touches with photos.  A list of user-friendly inexpensive programs needed, that I have tested over the last 3-decades of webdesign and photo editing work.

(g) Book keeping and tax information.

(h) Going out to client's homes to do bids and actual onsite work, seeing how we interact with clients, with a hand-on demonstration.

(i) I will be demonstrating most types of sheet metal fabrication and installation, even if it is not relating to the jobs I have lined up.  You would be using aluminum material to practice on, so we can see that you are able to do it yourself.  You will be returning with samples of your work and templates to refer to afterwards.

(j) Then some afterwards consultation time over the phone and on-line; for some of the questions that you will have later on.

And more details that I may not have thought to add here.

What Will This Cost?

As far as cost for this type of training with a comprehensive hands-on instruction with up to 2 students would run $4,000 a week plus $1,000 for each additional student to cover practice parts and all I'm offering listed above, along with aluminum examples they made to take back with you.

Day Rates: just $750 a day for this type of personal attention using my tools and the aluminum supplies in my workshop. You could even build a custom copper project for yourself, but you may want to practice building in aluminum forst, to avoid wasting that expensive copper sheet metal.

Some may feel that's a lot, but you could spend that much on just a seminar in a room full of people, or just getting a decent custom website designed for your business, so I know this is quite a bargain for all I have to offer, and may save you thousands in the first year alone.  This is a small start-up cost for most any type of small business.  This will also greatly increasing your chances for success, where most small businesses tend to fail within the first few years. I have specialized in sheet metal work for over 3-decades now, since 1992.

If you are unable to spare more than a few days devoted to this training I have a couple other options:

 (a) $300 a day to hang with me and see what I do. We will need to carefully arrange this time, so I can set my schedule to best fit your time here, where I am doing the sort of work that would benefit you most.

 (b) $750 a day to have me spend my full attention with you while you're here for a one-on-one training in order to show you these skills and have you make your own practice sample pieces to bring back with you to use as reference guides.

If you are serious about our training program, read through the dozens of webpages on our website (not just this one webpage), write an essay on your qualifications, experience, your business plan so far, and let me know just what all you need most. Then send it to me in an e-mail.

Hi David,
I wanted to let you know that I recently used some of the training you gave me. I installed two long sections of gutter, 60 or 70 feet each, so I used the gutter splice you taught me and they worked perfectly. I appreciate the opportunity you gave me to come to Portland and train with you. We covered a lot of stuff in one day and it was well worth the trip. It was very nice of you and your family to allow me to stay at your home. It was also nice of you to get up at 4 AM in the morning and take me to the airport. Tia is a great cook too!

Thanks,
Jim Steadman
